News - 09 Apr 10PQQ assistance from BPM
A locally based construction and refurbishment company have appointed BPM Professional Services to assist with the completion of a PQQ document for the North West Construction Hub (NWCH). Previous attempts to be accepted on the framework had failed and the company were looking for expert advice as well as a full writing service for the completion of the in-depth PQQ document.
A member of the BPM bid writing team worked from the company's offices to gain a full understanding of the services they offer and to study previously unsuccessful PQQs submitted. BPM also spent time talking to key employees to understand their roles as part of successfully completed projects and their position within the company. A key feature of the PQQ was to provide evidence of the company structure, roles and relationships in relation to past projects. BPM worked closely with the client to develop a clear understanding of this, enabling them to compile an accurate picture of the company set-up. Following their research, the BPM bid writing team set about producing a fully completed PQQ document, focusing on providing in-depth answers in five main areas - case studies (detailing of roles and relationships), organisation and staffing, relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers, quality systems and, recruitment and retention. BPM kept regular contact with the company and conducted follow up visits to their offices to glean the final pieces of information from the staff before the submission deadline. Upon completion of the PQQ within the allotted timeframe, all documents were sent to the company for their review before being submitted to the CHEST portal, the opportunities portal for the tendering of various projects within the North West. The successful companies will find out if they have been invited to tender in the next few weeks so for now it's a waiting game..........
