Summary:
BPM were recruited by The Richardson Holding Group to manage the refubishment of a shop unit following severe fire damage in Northampton. BPM's role included a full inspection of the property and the production of a detailed schedule of works. This was then issued as part of the tender pack to six general contractors. Upon the return of the tenders, BPM evaluated the responses and produced a recommendation report for the Loss Adjustor and Client before awarding the contract to the successful company. Before work commenced, a CDM Co-ordinator was appointed and an Asbestos Type III survey was carried out. Throughout the project, a member of the BPM team conducted bi-weekly site visits to ensure the programme and budget was being adhered to and all works met the standards required by the insurance company.
